Problem: Unable to add an Exchange account
If you run into problems when setting up your mailbox on your phone for the first time, we recommend that you ensure your Android device is running the latest version of the Android Operating System that is abailable for your phone model.
To check you are on the latest version:
Tap Settings > About > Software Update
If an update is available, you can install it from here.
The installation process can take some time. Ensure you have a stable Wi-Fi connection before proceeding with the update.
If your device is more than 3 years old, it may not be possible to add the email account.
If you are already on the latest version, double check all of the account details you have entered. Remember, passwords are case sensitive.
Also, swipe down from the top of the screen to see if there are any security notifications which need to be accepted.
