Do I need to call the Support Desk ?
A new version of the Symantec anti-virus software used on your network has been released which needs to be installed on all Supported PCs, Laptops and Servers.
This has been installed on the majority of machines automatically but there may be some machines onto which it has not successfully installed.
How do I know if I need the new software?
Once logged onto your machine look down at the bottom right corner of the screen (near the clock). You should see the anti-virus icon. (You may need to click the arrow to reveal any hidden icons).
It is important that you contact us by calling 01772 684282 Option 1 as soon as possible if your Supported PC DOES NOT have the correct version of the anti-virus software installed as work to rectify a Virus Infection on a machine which does not have the latest version of the anti-virus software installed will be chargeable.
