The purpose of this article is to assist our clients in installing our Managed Security Service.
As part of the install you will have been provided by Impact Computing either a link or a file to run on each of your contracted machine(s).
It's important that this install is only run on machines that are covered under your support contract with Impact Computing. Impact Computing cannot assist and are not liable for any problems caused by installing this software on none contracted machines.
The installation is relatively simple - double click the file that you have either been given or have downloaded from a URL we have provided, if prompted with a security warning choose yes. The program will then install in the background. After a few seconds you will get an "installation completed successfully" popup. This indicates the software has been successfully installed. There is no need to reboot. The process is shown below. If you have problems or do not get the "installation completed successfully" popup, please contact us so we can assist.
